FVD Consulting is a versatile cultural, health and wellbeing consultancy.

It operates from both London and Amsterdam, and advises on:

* business models,

* strategy development,

* project management, and

* impact creation and measurement.

Its founder, Ferry van Dijk, is a cultural consultant with a life-long passion for the transformative role of the cultural sector. His leadership ‘purpose’ is To make great ideas happen in a complex stakeholder environment.

Ferry combines 15 years of trustee experience at London-based arts organisations with 25 years at senior level in the corporate sector, after an initial MSc in Chemical Engineering in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. In 2018, he concluded a further postgraduate course in ‘Arts and Cultural Enterprise’ at Central Saint Martins (UAL) with a dissertation focusing on social impact through cultural activities in an urban regeneration context. This course greatly advanced his understanding of business models and (social) entrepreneurial approaches in the sector. It also awakened a keen desire to apply his business skills to further the role of arts, creativity, and culture in affecting change in individuals as well as in communities.

An overview of his business skills can be found here.

His key areas of interest include the interface between culture, health and wellbeing and social prescribing, as well as place-making.

His target customers are organisations in the culture, health and wellbeing sector, their funders and local authorities, and Ferry is very open to working in collaboration with other consultants and the communities.

Ferry is a fellow of the RSA, the royal society for arts, manufactures and commerce (FRSA).
